On October 13th at the Chillventa eSpecial online exhibition, it was announced that Bitzer will introduce a 140hp eight cylinder compressor, which will be its largest for transcritical CO2 applications.
The new CKHE7 CO2 compressor has a displacement of 99.2m3/hr, about 2.5x larger than models available right now.
Designed for the high cooling capacities of industrial refrigeration with CO2 as a refrigerant, it enables system manufacturers to build large capacity systems with a smaller number of compressors.
CKHE7 is the extension of the proven Bitzer CKHE5 series of reciprocating compressors, and will be available from next year.
