The 10th edition of the CO2 and Ammonia Refrigeration Technologies international conference will be held on April 27-29, 2023, in Ohrid, Macedonia.
CO2 and ammonia are the oldest of all the refrigerants applied today, and had been used since the 19th century.
The technological evolutions they have undergone make them today the most suitable refrigerants for many applications, capable of responding to the efficiency and sustainability requirements necessary for the decarbonization of the refrigeration sector.
The topics of the conference are: Design of modern ammonia systems and new CO2 systems and technological innovations, improvement of energy efficiency, various applications, technical guidelines and safety regulations.
The conference is organized by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Skopje and the International Institute of Refrigeration. The previous nine conferences have been very successful, indicating a growing community interest in these technologies.
