Copeland variable frequency drives are easy to install and use, with many features such as quick-start menus included to streamline commissioning and service.
They integrate perfectly with Emerson’s legacy E2 supervisory control, Dixell refrigeration controllers, and new Lumity E3 supervisory control.
One VFD model can be applied to multiple compressors as well as general purpose motors, greatly reducing the need to stock many SKUs to apply toward a wide range of applications.
There are two ranges, the EVM and the EVH series. Copeland EVM variable frequency drives cover from ½ to 30hp, have single and three-phase input options, and are simple to use with Bluetooth onboard connectivity. They are well-suited for chillers, display cases, medical refrigeration, reach-ins, walk-ins, and other commercial applications where less control functionality is needed.
Copeland EVH variable frequency drives cover from 1 to 250hp and all standard three-phase options, including 575V. They can handle applications requiring more functionality, such as CO2 booster systems, centralized rack applications, advanced chillers and industrial refrigeration.
Copeland EVM and EVH software has been optimized for Copeland compressor compatibility, even though offering the same functionalities found in other competitive variable frequency drives.
The VFD platform is available for scroll, semi-hermetic and screw compression technologies.
