Guided by the "less is more" approach, Frascold engineers have designed ever more innovative and sustainable models, starting from the production phase, in order to reduce the use of raw materials. Optimizing, in fact, also means making better use of raw materials.

 

Clear evidence of the Company's desire to help fuel the transition to decarbonization is the extension of the family of 4-cylinder semi-hermetic piston compressors in sizes Q, S and V for a volumetric flow rate of up to 123 m³ / h for 50 Hz. Between February and March 2022 the S and V versions in standard and ATEX versions were released together with the V Double stage, while the Q, standard and ATEX, will be officially presented in October 2022.

 

Attention to the environment is combined with maximum performance: These smaller and lighter compressors are able to cover the volumetric flow rates of physically larger solutions, while reducing energy consumption.

 

All the new models are distinguished by their high sustainability along the entire value chain. This is guaranteed by their optimized design, as well as by the possibility of opting for natural refrigerants such as hydrocarbons, which boast minimal GWP and zero ozone depletion potential (ODP).

 

In addition to the silence and high performance that have always characterized all Frascold compressors, these solutions are also distinguished by the possibility of creating both LV and MV applications with a single model, in favor of their versatility of use, enhanced by a reduced encumbrance.

 

In addition, the highest respect for the environment is confirmed by the possibility of equipping sizes Q, S and V with inverters, which further enhance performance and reduce consumption. Finally, these products are compatible with Frascold's patented Reduced Suction Head (RSH) exhaust technology, designed for a more accurate adaptation to different operating conditions, in favor of longer life and a further reduction in energy costs.
