Chillventa: German Optimism Driving the Cold

Many signs show that the cold, at European level, is driven by commercial and economic expansion of the major players, Germany first and foremost. As proof of this statement, this year’s edition saw + 10% more participants than the previous edition, two years ago, in addition to the participation of 1019 exhibitors (+ 4%), of 35490 visitors, 68% of whom were not Germans (data from the official website of the exhibition). This starting point is certainly of enormous interest: it means that the HVAC&R market is increasingly played at international levels. Last but not least, the exhibition has increased its exposure surface of
+ 4%. Being this event only 10 years old, certainly not many in the exhibition market, we can certainly understand how well the Germans have been able to promote this type of industry and, on the other hand, how much this sector has grown over the years.

A trend that is made possible thanks to, not only the lowering costs of transport (sea and land, first of all) but also to the ever greater ease of communication. But let's go deeper: in the top 10 of Chillventa 2018 participants we find Italy in first place. Sign that HVAC&R and the Belpaese are still synonymous, although, unfortunately, Expocomfort does not reach the same numbers. China immediately follows, sign that the interest of Asian companies towards our business model and R&D is still very, very strong. Then comes Turkey, one of the world's leading low-cost producers. Finally, Spain and France, certainly in contention among the main European players, as always. At some distance, we then find Great Britain, United States (an interesting sign), Belgium, Czech Republic and the Netherlands.
These data are particularly significant for distribution. Both large manufacturers and wholesalers, in fact, are more and more involved in rapid negotiations that need an ever greater coordination. Here’s why the role of intermediary companies such as Linea 3C, thanks to its almost 25 years of experience (of which more than 10 in worldwide markets), can meet the needs of the main industrial centers for the request of products such as Copeland, Bitzer, Daikin, Sanyo, Maneurop, Carrier, Frascold, Dorin, Refcomp and others.
