HVAC&R: Synonymous of Business Internationalization
Provided that it was needed, Chillventa 2018 increased the visibility of our market worldwide as witnessed by, among others, the participation of famous players such as China (present in 3 pavilions), South Korea, Turkey and Thailand.
What does all this have to do with internationalization? Simple: no one, among the great manufacturers, can afford to progress alone anymore. Ever more often, in fact, the various companies are interdependent among themselves: who has always produced compressors, for example, cannot improvise the production Wi-Fi cards for their top models. So, then, here is why the HVAC & R production is becoming increasingly transversal, with increasingly diverse production sectors in which the logic of the so-called Industry 4.0 penetrates.
In this way, one of the missions of Chillventa is to make the products of this sector more appealing (and attractive). In fact, it should not be forgotten that 68% of the cold companies is made up of family businesses with a maximum of 10 employees and a revenue of up to €500.000 / year. It means, in other words, that the cold sector needs special innovation to stay afloat and to not be crushed. In Germany, out of 100 open and vacant cold technician positions, only 32 are met. Few young Europeans choose the path of becoming refrigeration engineers. Schools, work agencies and educational institutions do not highlight our sector among those young people who are heading towards a career. Precisely in this area, companies such as Linea 3C S.r.l. promote training thanks to the organization of courses for refrigeration licenses and meeting opportunities among protagonists of the sector like the one organized last Friday for Fujitsu.
